Beyond the Therapy Session
mePro is an AI-powered, integrated platform designed to support and manage the therapy process, connecting therapists and clients through a unified experience. The platform brings together key aspects of a therapist’s work, from session and client record management to assessments, progress tracking, communication, and financial management, alongside AI-powered tools.
One of the key aspects of the platform is keeping clients connected to their therapy journey between sessions. In this project, youx Studio focused on designing the client experience and mobile application, while also contributing to parts of the therapist experience. The experience allows clients to record their feelings, write journal entries, complete therapy-related activities, stay connected with their therapist and AI, and follow their changes over time.
The goal was to create a simple, calm, and trustworthy experience that, alongside the connection with the therapist, helps clients stay engaged with their therapy journey and makes what they experience between sessions part of that journey.

A Day in the Therapy Journey
The daily experience takes shape in ProDay, a page designed as the starting point for each day, bringing the most important activities and therapy-related information together in a single view.
Here, users can record their mood, write journal entries, view daily activities and suggested exercises, and access information related to their therapy sessions.
The structure was designed to keep users from having to search through different parts of the app to find what they need each day. Activities relevant to the current day are prioritized, with each one designed to be completed through a simple and direct flow.
Alongside daily activities, users can review previous days and access a summary of their latest session, helping connect what they do throughout the day with their therapy sessions and overall journey.
From Writing to Better Understanding
Adding a journal entry in the app is more than simply storing a note. Over time, these entries and other recorded information can help users better understand their experiences and emotional state.
Users can write a journal entry or record it by voice, and use suggested prompts when they need help getting started.
The AI analyzes journal content and recurring patterns to identify notable insights and surface them to the user. This allows daily writing to become more than a personal record, a way to return to, reflect on, and notice recurring experiences over time.
Alongside journaling, motivation, mood, and anxiety are also tracked over time. Bringing these signals together with journal entries and daily activities provides a more complete view of the user’s changes and experiences throughout their journey.
Privacy is also an integral part of the experience. Users can choose for each journal entry whether it remains private or is shared with their therapist, keeping control of their personal information in their own hands.

Designing for Safety and Calm
The information recorded in the app is part of the user’s most personal experiences, from everyday thoughts and feelings to journal entries related to their therapy journey. For this reason, a sense of safety and control over personal information was one of the core principles guiding the design.
This approach went beyond privacy. Simplicity, calmness, and predictability were equally important. Shorter flows, clear structures, generous spacing, and a clear visual hierarchy helped ensure that users would not face a cluttered or complex environment when recording their feelings, writing, or having a conversation.
In shaping the experience, safety was the starting point, alongside support, reflection, connection, and personal growth. These principles influenced how information was presented, how interactions were structured, and how the overall visual language of the product was shaped.
